A Rotten.com user
”This site is self-explanatory. IT IS ROTTEN. But, why is it one of my favorite sites? Because they are great in what they are. Posting rotten, dirty, gross stuff which would make you feel like puking. Visit this site if you are in the mood for adventure. I love the format of this site, very simple, easy to understand links. You immediately know what you are going to see before you click on a link and the site hasn’t changed since the past four years. Warning: you need to have a strong stomach if you are going to browse through this entire site.”

Slash your long-distance bills, use Skype

http://www.skype.com/

Tagline
The whole world can talk for free.

About
It is a free-to-use software for internet telephony. With SkypeOut (paid service) you can call anyone on any phone anywhere in the world, at local rates. SkypeIn is a phone number your friends can call. You answer in Skype. SkypeVoicemail takes your calls when you’re busy or offline. There is even a store in the website which lets you buy Skype related products.

You can download Skype for:

• Windows
• Mac
• Linux
• Pocket PC

Total downloads 254, 618,985 till now.

Skype’s Self Review
Skype is software that enables you to make free calls anywhere in the world. Skype uses innovative P2P (peer-to-peer) technology to connect you with other users. It offers several features, including SkypeOut calling from Skype to regular and mobile phones worldwide, conference calling, and secure file transferring. Skype calls have better sound quality than your regular phone and are highly secure, with end-to-end encryption.

Download.com’s Editor’s Review of Skype
Getting in touch with friends and family is easy with this Internet telephone software, but the functionality is conditional. Skype offers a graphically pleasing interface that’s much like a chat program. To make calls, you’ll need to create a contact list of friends and family or use the phone-like interface to dial people directly. You also can access a pull-down menu for painless conference calls of up to four people. To make free calls, both parties will need to have the Skype software installed. To call regular phones, you’ll need to sign up for a plan with SkypeOut, the developer’s paid service that offers cheap by-the-minute calling. We like the intuitive chat-like interface of Skype and we were surprised at the excellent sound quality, even with regular desktop speakers. Similar to a chat client, you can set your availability status, but we also would like to see a missed call indicator or, better yet, some form of voice mail. Overall, we think Skype is a strong contender in the Internet Telephony category, and anyone who’s interested in talking for free should give it a try. For international callers who have computers, this program is a no-brainer solution for long-distance bills.

Everything is not yet FREE on the NET!

https://mediamax.streamload.com

There are a lot of websites providing online storage space for files, videos, music. Most of them give a trail 15 day membership after which things are chargeable. But there’s this site which claims free online storage space of 25 GB. Sounds unbelievable – in fact, you don’t need to believe it because I found a lot of loopholes while reviewing this site so I wanted to make other users aware of it all before you register and fall in the trap.

The loopholes are as below:

• The site is ambiguous about its price plans and features. There are 2 registration pages at different locations, each showcasing different Price Plans and Features.
https://www.streamload.com/Account/CreateNewAccount.asp?userName=xyz
https://mediamax.streamload.com/home/pricing.aspx

The first link has 5 plans with different prices and the second link has 3 plans which are not the same as any of the 5 previously mentioned ones.

• On registration, the site doesn’t actually provide 25GB but just 500 MB space. Moreover, there’s a restricted bandwidth too. At the same point of time, the file size limit is 25 MBs, so you cannot really share Videos as claimed by the site on its Homepage.

After coming across all these discrepancies, no one would really trust the genuineness of the site and for that matter would anyone jeopardize the safety and security of his important files?

No doubt, the server is quite fast and the file management is also user friendly but then, you don’t really get what you want!
