Consider this: I recently stumbled upon an eBay phishing site, and to my surprise, neither Firefox nor the Google Toolbar caught it. (Another surprise: Internet Explorer 7 did.) TrendProtect did seem to slow Google searches a bit, but that's a small price to pay for an added layer of protection.
